CSR/ CSR Communication
The final lecture of this unit focuses on Corporate Social
Responsibility (CSR), which is defined as 'a concept whereby companies
voluntarily integrate social and environmental concerns into their business
operations and interactions with stakeholders' (EU Green Book, 2001: Corporate
Social Responsibility). Furthermore, CSR involves a company's awareness of and
accountability for its impact on various aspects of society, including the
economic, social, and environmental dimensions. To conclude, a brief recap of
the entire unit is provided.
