  • Examination

    • Workload and Credit Points

      The course is open to students of all disciplines. It comprises a workload of around 90 hours with 3 credit points. This workload includes watching and working through the learning videos with the corresponding slides, further processing of the in-depth tasks and literature work as well as specific exam preparation.

      The course is concluded with an electronic exam. Students of the University of Bremen take their exam at the university's examination center (Testcenter). Students from partner universities of the Virtual Academy of Sustainability take their exam on dates scheduled by their home universities.

      Electronic examination


      For students of the University of Bremen:

      • Log in as a user on this learning platform. You can use your StudIP university account via the shibboleth login.
      • Select the course you would like to attend.
      • Within the course you will receive further information about the exact exam dates via www.egs.uni-bremen.de or in your profile here on the learning plattform via "exam registration". Exams usually take place on a monthly basis. 

      For students of the partner universities of the Virtual Academy of Sustainability:
      • Create your own account on this learning platform.
      • Select the course you would like to attend.
      • Within the course you will receive further information about the exact exam dates via www.va-bne.de or in your profile here on the learning plattform via "exam registration".
      • Please note: You can only take part in the exams if your university is an official partner university of the Virtual Academy.

      Other interested persons who use our courses are welcome to participate in all free educational materials. Unfortunately, we cannot offer you an examination and therefore certification.

    • Setup of the exam and types of questions:

      • In the exam, there will be questions on every lesson of the course.

      • You are very welcome to use our demo test to familiarize yourself with the possible question types.


      Checklist for exam preparation

      • You have registered on the learning platform.
      • You have registered as a participant in the respective course.
      • You have worked through the learning videos with the slides and made notes on the slides. 
      • You have watched all the learning videos - the lecture lessons as well as the interviews. 
      • You have completed your learning progress using the quizzes within this course.
      • You have had all your questions answered in the forum or via e-mail.  
      • You have registered yourself for an examination date via OnCourse and thus reserved a place for the examination.
